Indian Gold Sword SOLD

SOLD

Here I have for sale a original Gold hilted tulwaar. around 70% gold koftgari left on it. the "jor" (the join between handle and blade) appears to be original, and solid, battle ready.
it has rare marks on it. with 3 fullers/blood groves. blade has few places with rust, and could do with a very light clean. it may also bring out any wootz/damacus pattern in the blade.

very nicely balanced tulwaar, solid feeling, and great weight.

scabboard has some wear , and @ the drag it has silver ending peice. (infact scabboards like these are given in Sikh Art books, see Susan Stronge pg 86 - The Arts of the Sikh Kingdoms, a very similar scabboard for the tulwaar, with a similar ending piece).

clear, detailed pictures are provided.

asking price is £600, open to reasonable offers.

Thanks
